How We do Things

Home buyers and sellers sign up for the service so they can be matched with a great agent without having to do all the necessary vetting and work. Right after signup, we reach out to answer any questions they might have and verify their information.

We can then match the referral with an agent that is the best fit for their unique situation, and we only refer local agents as it’s in the clients’ best interest. We select agents based marketing levels, both digital and print, production, knowledge of their service areas, client referral preferences, unique specialties, past customer ratings, and other criteria.

How it Works on Your End

We can notify you via text message and email with your new referral information. You will receive the referral’s first name, city, estimated sale price or budget, and a link to a page where you can accept or skip the referral. The page will also show you the referral fee you agree to pay when you have successfully closed on a property (usually 25-30% of the gross referred-side commission). We require that you quickly accept or skip so the referral isn’t kept waiting.

If you accept the referral, we’ll immediately connect you with them via email and provide you with their full name, contact information, and any additional details from our communication with them.

What’s Next

Once you’ve accepted a referral, you’ll be required to periodically sign in to your Home Searchy account to provide updates on your progress. Let us know when you’ve spoken to the referral, met in person, listed their home or started going on home showings, and of course—when you have a deal pending and closed. This keeps us informed and helps us make sure our referral is completely satisfied.
